Ged Grimes (born on 28 March 1962) is a Scottish musician, producer and composer.
Ged Grimes has been composing, producing and performing music for over 30 years. He came to prominence as a member of the pop trio Danny Wilson and for the past 8 years, he has been a member of Simple Minds who are celebrating 40 years as Scotland’s most internationally successful group.

Ged has composed and produced an authentic soundtrack in collaboration with Gaelic artists and traditional musicians for a new video game set in 18th century Scotland, the sequel to the highly successful Bard’s Tale from the late 1980s.
Ged Grimes has been a member of Simple Minds since 2010.He has also composed music for numerous hit games. His soundtracks include Earthworm Jim 3D, Enter the Matrix, Amplitude and Quarrel. His latest “The Bard's Tale IV” features Scotland’s leading traditional and Gaelic artists.
