The Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) is a contemporary art school that was a faculty of the University of Sydney from 1990 until 2017, when it became a school of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Delivered by Sydney College of the Arts (SCA), the Master of Fine Arts by research is designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop your art practice through advanced research in one or more discipline area.
In the Bachelor of Visual Arts, you will complete: six studio units of study that allow you to specialise across a range of disciplines relevant to contemporary art (ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting, photomedia, printmedia, screen arts or sculpture).
On 25 July 1975 the Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) was established by the Minister for Education as a College of Advanced Education (CAE) under the NSW Ministry of Education.
