  6. 12 de ago. de 2021 · Somewhere along the line, Sonny impressed John Hammond enough to earn a featured slot on the producer’s legendary From Spirituals to Swing concert at Carnegie Hall in 1938. He was back on the bill when Hammond mounted another all-star program under the same billing the next year.
