Friends' School (known as Walden School from 2016–17) was a Quaker independent school located in Saffron Walden, Essex, situated approximately 12 miles south of the city of Cambridge, England. The school was co-educational and accommodated children between the ages of three and 18 (boarders and day pupils).

Friends' School Archives. Most of the school's pre 1936 archives were moved in 1986 to the Essex Record Office in Chelmsford and after the school closed in 2017 the remaining archives were moved there in 2018. A catalogue of documents in the Essex Record Archives can be found here .

A brief account of the origins of Friends’ School. Friends’ School has occupied 4 sites during its history, the first 3 being in London: Clerkenwell from 1702 to 1786, Islington Road from 1786 to 1825, Croydon from 1825 to 1879, and Saffron Walden from 1879.
