About Ready or Not, Here Comes Scout. Scout, the lovable puppy of Puppy Diaries fame, stars in her own picture book Poor Scout. She wants so much to make friends with the other dogs at the dog park. She tries all her best puppy tricks–splashing, playing keepaway–but the older dogs ignore her.
Scout, a new puppy, is trying to make friends with other dogs, but he doesn’t know how to be a good friend. He watches them, and soon learns how; they are all great friends! Then, another dog comes to the park who is not so nice; maybe someday they will be friends, but not today.
