  3. St MacNissi’s College was opened as a residential college at Garron Tower (see image) on the north-east Antrim coast in the 1950s and remained a prominent second level college in the diocese until 2010, when it amalgamated with two other Antrim schools to become St Killian’s College.

  4. The house was built as a summer residence in 1848 on a plateau above the County Antrim coast. There are shelter trees, a noted Eucalyptus globulus of 1857, formal lawns above sham battlements, and a gate lodge. The site is now St. Macnissi's College.
