source: Wikipedia. Louisa McDonnell, Countess of Antrim. Louisa McDonnell, Countess of Antrim, was a Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Victoria from 1890 until 1901, and briefly served as Acting Mistress of the Robes in 1894. Ladies of the Bedchamber were always wives of peers.
25 de abr. de 2016 · On 1 June 1875, Louisa married the 6th Earl of Antrim (thus becoming the Countess of Antrim) in the Chapel Royal at St. James's. They had three children: Lady Sybil Mary McDonnell (26 March 1876 – 16 April 1959), married Vivian Smith, 1st Baron Bicester.
Louisa Countess of Antrim was the daughter of General Charles Grey who had been appointed Prince Albert's private secretary in 1849 and, after the Prince's death, Queen Victoria's. Her grandfather was the Prime Minister Earl Grey of the 1832 Reform Bill. The collection contains some papers relating to both Louisa's father and grandfather.
