Bard College has been test-optional for over 50 years. You do not need to take the SAT or ACT to apply to Bard. SAT and ACT scores should only be submitted if a student feels that their scores are an accurate reflection of their academic abilities.
Bard College offers a number of 3+2, 4+1, and dual-degree programs in the United States and overseas, awarding both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Many degree-granting international programs also offer study abroad opportunities for a semester or a year.
Undergraduate students at Bard College can earn a bachelor of arts degree in nearly 40 academic programs in five academic divisions.

A 12-month health insurance plan is available through Bard at an additional cost of $3,660, which is charged in the fall semester. Students who elect to have alternate private plans must submit proof of coverage for confirmation that, upon review, it is equivalent to the plan offered through Bard.
