An outstanding new recording of the Mendelssohn violin concerto with Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos, winner of both the Sibelius and Paganini competitions. Kavakos is supported on this recording by the Salzburg Camarata, of which he has been the Artistic Director since 2007.
