Hal Lindes (30 de junio de 1953, Monterey, California, Estados Unidos) es un guitarrista y compositor británico-estadounidense, miembro de la banda Dire Straits durante los años 1980. Ha compuesto un gran número de bandas sonoras para películas y televisión.
Hal Andrew Lindes (born 30 June 1953) is an American–English [citation needed] guitarist and film score composer best known for his time as a member of Dire Straits. In 1979, he played guitar with the new wave group Darling .
