Victoria Williams (born December 23, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter and musician, originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, United States, although she has resided in Southern California throughout her musical career.

Water to Drink is an album by the American musician Victoria Williams, released in 2000. She had originally intended to record an album of standards, but was discouraged by Atlantic Records. Williams promoted the album by touring with Lou Reed.
Her often-remarkable lyrics can be heard this time, and her rangy voice — an intoxicating blend of little-girl breathiness and old- lady crackle and wisdom that is definitely an acquired taste — is well out front. (As is her idiosyncratic Christianity, in the gospel-country “Holy Spirit.”)
