Doyle Bramhall II (album) A&M Studios, Driveby Studios, Punker Prod. West, Royaltone Studios. Doyle Bramhall II is the first solo studio album by the artist of the same name. It was released September 9, 1996 to mixed reviews.
The Wendy & Lisa sound is back in force on "Close to Heaven," but this time it sounds great, especially on the outchorus. Bramhall's tastefully restrained guitar work on this track is one of the CD's highlights.
