31 de dic. de 2019 · TRIBUTES have been paid to Les Chadwick, one of the original members of Gerry and The Pacemakers, who has died at the age of 76. Les, who was diagnosed with Stage Four brain cancer four weeks ago and had started undergoing treatment, died peacefully, in his sleep, on Boxing Day.

Original bass player Les Chadwick died on 26 December 2019. (After the original lineup broke up during the 1960s, Chadwick moved to Australia.) In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gerry Marsden released a new version of "You'll Never Walk Alone" in tribute to the National Health Service.
Les Chadwick was born on 11 May 1943 in Liverpool, England, UK. He was an actor and writer, known for Zodiac (2007), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) and Beast (2017). He was married to Jo Siopis. He died on 26 December 2019.
