Believe in Me es el primer disco en solitario de Duff McKagan, el cual venía ya hace un buen tiempo trabajando en algunas canciones personales, y que además cuenta con varios artistas invitados tales como Lenny Kravitz, Jeff Beck, Sebastian Bach, Slash, Matt Sorum, entre otros.

Highlights include the aforementioned Kravitz-fronted track, The Majority, the Bach-sung Trouble, the rapped infidelity story of *** You (that must have helped set the bases for rap-metal). Downsides include the clichéd I Love You (even the title is uninspired) and Lonely Tonite (ditto).

It was also loaded with rock star guest shots: Lenny Kravitz and Sebastian Bach sang one song a piece. Dave Sabo and Rob Affuso from Skid Row joined Baz on the album while Slash laid down a couple trademark dirty guitar solos.
