Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School is a high performing non-selective girls' school with academy status for ages 11 to 18, in Barnet, London, England. [1] In the academic year 2016/17 it was ranked in the top 1.3 per cent of all secondary schools (including selective schools) in England by the Department for Education. [2]

As well as being the final stage of the school journey for QEGS Year 11 students, we offer the perfect setting for new students to join us in the Sixth Form. We ensure a smooth transition from Year 11 into the Sixth Form so that students become independent learners with highly effective study skills.
Thriving from ancient roots: Queen Elizabeth's School, 1573–2023. In 1573, Elizabeth I granted a charter ‘for the establishment of the Free Grammar School of Queen Elizabeth in Barnet’.
