  5. 1 de jun. de 2023 · Associate Professor Martin Lang ’95, was named the 2023 winner of the Edgar M. Carlson Award for Distinguished Teaching at the Gustavus Adolphus commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 27. The award is the College’s highest honor for teaching excellence.

Carlson Award for Distinguished Teaching, Professor Thomas A. Emmert of the department of history. Dr. Emmert is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of our sister college, St. Olaf.
