The Voyage to Icaria (French: Voyage en Icarie [vwajaʒ ɑ̃n ikaʁi]) is a novel written by Étienne Cabet and published in 1840. In this romance, he described a communistic utopia , whose terms he had dreamed out; and he began at once to try to realize his dream.

17 de jul. de 2020 · El “Viaje a Icaria” es uno de ellos. Su influencia fue enorme y sirvió de apoyo para extender “la fiebre” y el interés hacia las colonias igualitarias. Ese socialista utópico que fue Cabet, pretendía con esta obra poner de manifiesto la superioridad moral de la sociedad socialista sobre la capitalista.
Su proyecto social está explicado en Voyage à l'Icarie (1842), obra en la que diseña una sociedad comunista en la que no existe la propiedad privada y prevalece el igualitarismo.
