3 de may. de 2024 · The nine circles of hell, as depicted in Dante's Inferno, represent a gradual descent into increasing levels of sin and punishment—from the first circle, Limbo, to the ninth circle, which is reserved for the worst sinners. Each level represents various types of moral wrongdoing and the corresponding punishment.

In July 1944 a newspaper in Pampa, Texas printed the same saying credited to Dante: 7. Dante is quoted as saying, “The hottest places in Hell are reserved for those who, in a period of moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”
