We are a voluntary aided 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school with over 1,600 students on roll. The school serves the Catholic parishes in Washington, Birtley, Penshaw, Houghton and Hetton. It is situated in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

The whole school theme this week has been ‘Gratitude’. Our daily prayers have focused on the benefits of adopting an attitude of gratitude. We also welcomed Mr Derrick and 8W1 to our chapel today as they led us in our Celebration of the Word.
