Douglas Theodore Pinnick (born September 3, 1950), sometimes stylized as dUg Pinnick or simply dUg, is an American musician best known as the bass guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and songwriter for the hard rock and progressive metal band King's X. He has performed on 15 albums with King's X and recorded four solo albums.
Doug Pinnick is known first and foremost as the soulful singer and bassist for hard rockers King's X. Throughout the early 21st century, Pinnick remained the "go-to singer" of rock - as evidenced by his appearance on recordings by various projects.

The album is Pinnick’s fifth solo album and his first since 2013’s Naked . “ Joy Bomb is a collection of tunes I've been writing for the last two years,” says Pinnick.
