WITH Gilbert & George + Q&A. We are delighted to announce a special screening of WITH Gilbert & George, by Julian Cole at the The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) at 6.30pm on Saturday 13 July. May 26.
Since 1968, Gilbert & George have been residents of Fournier Street, Spitalfields, East London. They live in an 18th-century house that has been restored to its original decor. [12] Their entire body of work has been created in, and focused on, London's East End, which they see as a microcosm.

Filmmaker Julian Cole first met Gilbert and George when he modelled for them in 1986. His intimate and moving portrait filmed over 18 years, reveals for the first time the individuals behind the living sculptures, revealing how their art can transcend barriers.
