Working in the Theatre is the Emmy® Nominated documentary series revealing fascinating human stories, the process of creating for the stage, and culture defining trends in the American theatre.
When five Artistic Directors across the country (four in their inaugural term) were faced with the closure of their stages, they quickly banded together to produce an opportunity to keep theatre and art alive through a micro-commission program that would become Play at Home.
Working in the Theatre sometimes means choosing a discipline that you never expected to choose. For Bessie Nelson (Beader), Tom Andrews (Flame Proofer), and Jon Coles (Feathers), this is the path they took.
