Sir George Throckmorton (c. 1480 – 6 August 1552) of Coughton Court in Warwickshire, England, was a Member of Parliament during the reign of King Henry VIII .
George Throckmorton, the MP for Warwickshire, led support for Queen Catherine in the House of Commons. He told Henry VIII that his conscience would be greatly troubled if he married Anne Boleyn, as he believed that he had a sexual relationship with her sister, Mary Boleyn, and her mother, Elizabeth Howard Boleyn.

Throckmorton served with his father in the French war of 1513 as captain of the Great New Spaniard. Seven years later he was present at the Field of Cloth of Gold, which had been in part devised by his father-in-law.
George Throckmorton recently retired from the Salt Lake City Police Department Crime Laboratory where he spent the last decade as the Director of the Lab. George has been in law enforcement for forty years and has been a Forensic Document Examiner for thirty-five of those years.
