Our classic E-Series screw jacks features a precision worm gear set, powerful lead screw, robust housing, two integrated lubrication mechanisms and a comprehensive range of options. Capacity ranges from 5kN to 2,000kN as standard; as customised design it can be up to 3,500kN. For low duty applications a machine screw jack is generally suitable.
Screw jacks are gearbox assemblies combined with transmission components that, through the use of a motor, can be used to convert rotary motion into linear motion. Depending on the application, screw jacks can be used to lock, unlock, push, pull, tension, tilt, lift, lower, slide, roll, or pivot loads ranging from a few pounds up to 250 tons.
Metric Lead Screws and Nuts. These metric lead screws and nuts have broad, square threads that are well suited for quick assembly, high clamping forces, and lifting and lowering heavy objects. They're commonly found in hand-powered clamps, vises, grates, doors, and work tables.
Screw jacks come assembled, threaded, and ready for hookup. Connect a motor or hand-crank shaft to the screw jack shaft to lift, hold, position, and level loads.
