Pimlico Academy (formerly Pimlico School) is a mixed-sex education secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Pimlico area of Westminster in London.
19 de may. de 2021 · Daniel Smith will leave his role as principal of the London secondary school at the end of May, following protests and allegations of racism over its uniform policy. The school said it had revised the policy and apologised to students and parents, but some pupils still expressed dissatisfaction and mistrust.
In the sixth form we offer a bespoke programme of pastoral support to our students. The Head of Sixth Form is supported by a Sixth Form Co-ordinator, Head of Year 12 and a Head of Year 13 a non teaching Enrichment and Higher Education Co-ordinator and a Careers Co-ordinator.
31 de mar. de 2021 · Pupils at Pimlico Academy walked out of school and chanted "we want change" against the uniform policy that bans afro haircuts and requires formal suits. The school apologised for the disruption and said it was working to resolve the issues raised by students and staff.
