21 de abr. de 2019 · Nickelback's Former Drummer Ryan Vikedal Sued and Dismissed. In January 2005, Nickelback fans were surprised to learn that Ryan Vikedal was no longer the drummer for the group. Vikedal was not the original drummer for the group. He joined the group in 1998, replacing Mitch Guindon.
After wrapping up the band's tour in support of The Long Road on New Year's Day 2005, drummer Ryan Vikedal was fired after a royalty dispute. He was later replaced by 3 Doors Down's drummer Daniel Adair.
Firing Previous Drummer Ryan Vikedal Was Painful For Them. Vikedal played with the band on their second through fourth albums, 1998's The State, 2001's Silver Side Up, and 2003's The Long Road.
