  3. There is a show from late 1977 where Brian breaks into WIBN with piano and vocal, and the band tries to jump in. Brian is pretty animated during the entire show. Can't remember the exact show but I'll try to track it down. Audio only, could be Seattle? I'm a "superfan" going back to 1986, and this is my first post here. Should be fun!

His fellow bandmates, particularly Mike Love voiced their disdain for the new direction he was taking, he was also taking lots of LSD, there was also the pressure to create a follow-up to Pet Sounds, which, while not immediately commercially successful, was recognised as a landmark in modern music.
