His show soon became the top rated radio show in Los Angeles. In that same decade, he also was known for two television shows, "Adams Alley" on KLAC and "Joe Adams Presents." Adams also appeared in more than 26 motion pictures. In the 1950s, he started working with musician Ray Charles, becoming his manager, producer, and promoter.
Eddie Beal was born on 13 June 1910 in Redlands, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Manhattan Angel (1948), Joe Adams Presents (1951) and Stars of Jazz (1956). He died on 15 December 1984 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
