August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2003. The band's lineup of guitarists John Benjamin "JB" Brubaker and Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson has remained consistent since 2006.

30 de ene. de 2023 · When August Burns Red started in 2003, with JB, Matt and Brent all a part of the initial line-up that formed out of high school in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, there was no intent for this to become their career.
6 de sept. de 2022 · “It was quiet for few seconds, then almost everyone started chanting, ‘ABR! ABR! ABR!’ ” recalls lead guitarist and main songwriter JB Brubaker from the basement studio at his house in Manheim, Pennsylvania, about 11 miles from where August Burns Red formed.
