On the Road to Freedom is an album by English rock musician Alvin Lee and American gospel singer Mylon LeFevre. Released in November 1973, it was the first solo project by Lee, who had achieved international success through his leadership of the blues rock band Ten Years After.

30 de ago. de 2013 · Written by George Harrison, the track features George on guitar, slide guitar, bass, and harmony vocal, with Mylon on lead and harmony vocals, Alvin on guitar and vocals, Ron Wood on 12-string guitar, and Mick Fleetwood on drums. Not a bad band. The version is much better than Harrison’s own take, released on Dark Horse the following year.

27 de oct. de 2011 · In my opinion, one of Alvin Lee's best songs (maybe his very best) is the titular 'On the Road to Freedon'; with Mylon Le Fevre providing only backing vocals on this track, it effectively is Alvin Lee and Traffic (Steve Winwood on piano, Jim Capaldi on drums and Rebob on congas).
