Gregg is a unique boss in Dungeon Quest that was released in 2024-04-25.

Gregg is a humanoid being with peachy skin, black clothing, a beard, a golden tooth on his left of his mouth, a feather hat, and a bunch of treasure on his body. When players complete a specific room, Gregg has a chance of falling down from the sky from the position of the last mob that was defeated and will laugh. Gregg has a 1/3 chance of spawning for the entire dungeon (excluding Boss Raids, event dungeons, legacy dungeons and Wave Defence). Gregg's health scales based on the player's current level, and are scaled equally to all players in the dungeon. Players receive an amount of damage based on their level, and all players deal approximately the same amount of damage. Players are given 75 seconds to defeat Gregg. If Gregg is still present in the fight when the timer reaches zero, he will laugh and despawn.

Wealth Shield [Passive]: Throughout the entire fight, Gregg will be protected by a shield that absorbs 95% of the player's damage.

Coin Throw: Gregg will target a random player and will throw coins in a straight line three times, damaging—and inflicting 'Rooted' status to—any player hit.

When Gregg is defeated, players receive three loot drops based on their current dungeon (which bypasses the inventory limit), along with {{{1}}} between 1-3 crafting materials, the material of which depends on the current dungeon. These materials are required for crafting a series of unique, non-tradable, unsellable, and permanent legendary weapons in the Lobby, offered by the Craftsman. Players must follow a sequential order to craft these legendary weapons, progressing from the simplest to the most complex.

Additionally, players can exchange materials at the Craftsman's workshop by selecting the 'Exchange' option with a 2:1 ratio.

Currently there are only four craftable legendary weapons, all warrior weapons. Mage versions are planned to be implemented in a future update.

Here are the rooms of each dungeon that Gregg will spawn in. Gregg does not spawn in Boss Raids, events, legacy dungeons or Wave Defences.

•When grinding for materials, always choose the quickest dungeon you can play.

•The recommended for each respective material are as follows: Steampunk Sewers or Desert Temple for Warforged Metal, Orbital Outpost or Winter Outpost for Obsidian Chunk, The Canals for Gold Bar and King's Castle or Aquatic Temple (if resetting on Hardcore Mode upon clearing Gregg's only spawn in Room 3) for Astral Amethyst. This is because they can be completed very quickly or have few possible Gregg spawns.

•Both classes can deal melee damage to Gregg. This is recommended at all stages of the fight for additional damage, and more so after collecting all the coins.

•Since Gregg can drop loot based on your current level, it is recommended to farm Gregg in easier and shorter dungeons such as Desert Temple or Winter Outpost. This is especially helpful if you are lacking decent equipment and if you are having trouble with your current highest leveled dungeon.

•As Gregg is likely a permanent update due to the craftable weapons and not having its own event dungeon, it is likely to be involved in Excalibur Quest. This is especially after approximately early April 2024, when its appearance in the Lobby was changed to be under construction and a sign stating 'SWORD UNDER CONSTRUCTION'.

•Not counting Legacy Dungeon and unconfirmed rooms, Volcanic Chambers and Aquatic Temple have the fewest rooms available for Gregg to spawn, with only one. And Gilded Skies having the most with seven.
