13 de ene. de 2022 · The Jubilee Year is a special year of grace, in which the Church offers the faithful the possibility of obtaining a plenary indulgence. Traditionally, it begins just before Christmas and ends on the Epiphany of the following year.
The Jubilee ( Hebrew: יובל yōḇel; Yiddish: yoyvl) is the year that follows the passage of seven “weeks of years” (seven cycles of sabbatical years, or 49 total years). This fiftieth year [1] deals largely with land, property, and property rights.
It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. 11 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. 12 For it is a jubilee.
