Anne Stuart Percy, Lady Warkworth (c.1745 – 20 January 1813), also known as "Lady Percy" (Countess Percy), was the first wife of Hugh Percy, later Duke of Northumberland (1742–1817). She is known for her association with the novelist Laurence Sterne , with whom she may have had an intimate relationship.

Percy was granted a divorce in Parliament from Lady Anne in 1779 on the grounds of her adultery and immediately married Frances Julia Burrell on 23 May 1779, with whom he had six daughters and three sons, with three daughters and two sons surviving him.

Sir Henry Percy died at Warkworth in 1352 age just 53 from an unknown illness, after an illustrious military career; his funeral at Alnwick Abbey was apparently an imposing affair with 200 priests officiating. He was succeeded by his son Henry Percy 2 nd or ‘Henry the Short’ as he was known due to his

Percy apparently rescued from being used as fire-kindling during his search for the history of the Percy family in Northumberland. He further supported the traditional story of the origins of the hermitage as this was the story passed down to local folk as warranted to him by the Reverends Wilfred Lawson, father and son, who were the Rectors of Warkworth from 1717 to 1770.
