The band formed in 1980 in Liverpool and found success in the mid-1980s, releasing seven singles that made the UK Top 40 and three albums in the UK Top 30.

Jason Alburey (1995–2003): Keyboardist for the band, Alburey appears in the 2003 video for the re-release of "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", despite having nothing to do with the song itself. Jason now has a solo career and is known as JEYJON. Dean Bright (1995–2003): Back-up keytarist for live concerts.
