Janette Howard (née Parker; born 11 August 1944) is the wife of John Howard, who was the Prime Minister of Australia from 11 March 1996 to 3 December 2007 and the second-longest-serving Australian Prime Minister.
Following surgery for cervical cancer in 1996, Janette was an advocate for early screening for breast cancer as a patron of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. She was the National Portrait Gallery's first chief patron, from 1999 to 2007.
