  5. 31 de dic. de 2019 · Alexander Gordon, 2nd Duke of Gordon was born circa 1678 at Scotland G. 2 He was the son of George Gordon, 1st Duke of Gordon and Lady Elizabeth Howard. 1 He married Lady Henrietta Mordaunt, daughter of General Charles Mordaunt, 3rd Earl of Peterborough and Carey Fraser, circa 13 February 1706/7. 1 He died on 28 November 1728. 2.

  6. Alexander Gordon was born at Gordon Castle in 1743 and succeeded his father as 4th Duke of Gordon. He was educated at Eton and afterwards entered the Army, becoming a Colonel in 1793.

  7. His son Alexander Gordon (16781728), second duke, also a Jacobite, as Marquis of Huntly led 2300 men to Old Pretender at Perth (1715). Lord George Gordon, the third son of the third Duke of Gordon was a naval lieutenant.
