Waking the Dead. A crack detective team led by Detective Superintendent Peter Boyd apply new techniques to nightmarish old crimes as they solve cold cases.
The Team effectively proves that dead man was a murder victim, not a suicide and narrows their prime suspects to three inmates at the halfway house where the crime was committed. Two of them have ties to a shady jazz club owner named Phil Brown.
Boyd and the team track down murdered police officer Debbie's married lover, but he denies killing her. Meanwhile, stalker Christopher Redford is ready to confess to the murder, but Grace is not convinced he's the guilty man. 7.8/10 (164)
