She provided vocals and lyrics to several of the songs on Wide Angle (1999), the debut album by Welsh electronic music group Hybrid, notably the nu skool breaks track "If I Survive". In 1999, she performed on two songs on Don't Panic! by DJ Silver, "Sweet Dreams" and "I'm Your Girl".
Julee Cruise, best known for the theme of Twin Peaks, supplied vocals on several songs, and Soon E MC added French rapping to "Sinequanon". In 2000, the album was re-released as a double CD package, labelled Wider Angle.

1999–2000: Wide Angle. Hybrid released their debut album, Wide Angle, in 1999 – a combination of progressive house and nu skool breaks with vocals and symphonic textures. They hired the Russian Federal Orchestra for the string sections. Julee Cruise supplied many of the vocals for Wide Angle.
