  7. Sir THOMAS HANMER, 4th bart. (1677 - 1746), speaker, diplomat, and littérateur Friend of Harley and Prior, who was educated at Westminster and Christ Church and sat in Parliament (variously for Flintshire and its borough, Thetford, and Suffolk) between 1701 and 1727.
