  1. Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester, KStJ, DL (9 July 1880 – 21 August 1949) was a British peer and Army officer, styled Viscount Coke from 1909 to 1941. Early life. Coke was the son of Thomas William Coke, 3rd Earl of Leicester, and Hon. Alice Emily White.

  2. When he ( fourth Earl) died the titles passed to his eldest son, the fifth Earl, in 1949. He was an Extra Equerry to both George VI and Elizabeth II. He died without male issue and was succeeded by his first cousin, the sixth Earl in 1976. He was the son of the Hon. Arthur George Coke, second son of the third Earl.

  4. Thomas Coke (1697-1759), created Earl of Leicester in 1744, married Margaret Tufton, co-heir of the 6th Earl of Thanet, and through her acquired the Dungeness lighthouse dues.
