Biography. Eleanor was born somewhere between 1518 and 1521 and is the daughter of Charles Brandon KG and Mary Tudor, the sister of Henry VIII. Although this profile has Southwark, Surrey as her birthplace, others consider Westhorpe Hall, Suffolk to her most likely place of birth. [1] [2] Eleanor married Henry Clifford in 1517. [3]
