5 de ago. de 2015 · Following a comprehensive review and approval by faculty leaders and administrators, UCLA is asking the University of California to formally establish the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music as the UC system’s first independent music school.
21 de ene. de 2016 · The University of California Regents voted today to formally establish the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, and campus officials named an interim dean for the first music school in the UC system. Judi Smith, dean and vice provost emerita of the UCLA College, will serve as interim dean.
