Welcome to Longy School of Music of Bard College. Today, the School carries with it the spirit of our founder, Georges Longy, and his core belief in the strength of a rigorous and versatile music education.
Our programs include: The Undergraduate Music Program (classical instrumental and voice, composition, electronic music, ethnomusicology, history, jazz, theory); The Conservatory of Music (composition, conducting, instrumental, US-China, voice); and The Orchestra Now.
Longy Music is a private college located in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the Boston Area. It is a small institution with an enrollment of 31 undergraduate students.
