Gersuinda (also Gersvinda, Gervinda; died after 800) was a concubine of the emperor Charlemagne, with whom he was in a relationship after the death of his last legitimate wife, Luitgard (died June 4, 800).
28 de dic. de 2015 · His first known "concubine" (I hate that word, but I'll use it), a woman known as Gersuinda, probably dates to 773. Their daughter, Adaltrude, was born in 774. The second known "concubine" was Madelgard, who produced another daughter, Rhuodhaid, born in 775.

Most manuscripts of Einhard’s Life of Charlemagne mention at least three names. These include a mistress from Saxony, named Gersuinda, as well as a certain Regina and Adalinda.
