Bluesology was a 1960s British blues group, best remembered as being the first professional band of Elton John (then known by his birth name Reginald Dwight). History [ edit ] From about 1960, organist Reginald Dwight – then aged 13 – and his neighbour, singer and guitarist Stewart "Stu" Brown, performed with a local group, the Corvettes, in Pinner , Middlesex , a suburb of London.
Bluesology was an English R&B music group formed in 1962, best remembered as being the first professional band of which Reginald Dwight – later known as Elton John – was a member. Though more a touring band than recording artists, Bluesology dissolved sometime in late 1968, having served primarily in the role of backing band to John Baldry in their final year.
