HMCS Margaret Brooke, was launched in fall 2019, and delivered to the RCN in July 2021.
Lieutenant Commander Margaret Brooke, MBE, was a Royal Canadian Navy Nursing Sister decorated for gallantry during the Second World War. On October 14, 1942, a German submarine torpedoed the SS Caribou off the coast of Newfoundland, sinking the ferry within five minutes.
