Panthers. North High School was a public high school in Springfield, Ohio, that opened in 1960. It was one of two high schools in the Springfield City School District, the other school being South High School. On September 8, 2008, the two schools were combined into Springfield High School.
North High School participates in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a building-wide program that includes an evidence-based three-tiered framework for improving and integrating data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day.

The Springfield City School District serves approximately 7,700 students pre-school through grade 12 in a vibrant learning community of 59,500 residents in west-central Ohio.
The school was first established in 1911 and existed until 1960, when it was divided into two separate high schools, Springfield North and Springfield South. SHS was re-established in 2008 with the merger of North and South High Schools.
