The University of Hamburg (German: Universität Hamburg, also referred to as UHH) is a public research university in Hamburg, Germany.
Universität Hamburg offers two kinds of master's programs: Consecutive master's programs build upon specific bachelor's programs. As a rule, they are two to four-semester programs which build upon, deepen or expand previous bachelor's programs by adding an interdisciplinary focus.
Fundada en 1919 cuenta con 41.500 estudiantes en 22 departamentos y 150 programas de estudio de máster y bachelor, siendo el 12% de sus estudiantes extranjeros. A pesar de ser una universidad reciente, cuenta con 6 premios nobeles y varios científicos y personajes destacados.
