Eric Hamber is a comprehensive secondary school with approximately 1400 students. Each year, approximately 70% of the senior class graduate with honours standing. The school is named after Eric Hamber, former Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.
17 de oct. de 2022 · In June 2018, the provincial government announced funding for the replacement of Eric Hamber Secondary School. This will be the largest seismic project in Vancouver’s history. The new 4-storey, seismically safe school will have capacity for up to 1,700 students and will meet today’s standards for modern learning.
Plans to fully replace the aging, seismically unsafe Eric Hamber Secondary School within Vancouver’s Cambie Corridor have advanced to the development application stage.
