The Wizard of Lemuria is a fantasy novel by American writer Lin Carter, the first book of his Thongor series set on the fictional ancient lost continent of Lemuria. The author's first published novel, it was initially issued in paperback by Ace Books in 1965.
Thongor’s first experience with a stolen airship, The Nemedis, leads him on an adventure meeting the powerful Wizard of Lemuria named Sharajsha. He joins Thongor on a journey to create the magic sword destined to destroy the evil dragon kings.

The Wizard of Lemuria (1965) by Lin Carter, is the first book in the Thongor of Lemuria series. It was originally published in 1965 by Ace Books. It was revised and expanded in 1970 by Carter, both to include previously deleted material and for consistency with later developments in the series.
